I bought some boba pearls online, and have been making black milk tea with boba for a couple of days now. The best recipe: Assam black tea with milk, and add some boba which you’ve stewed in brown sugar syrup, taking care to smear some of the syrup up the sides of the glass. This will form long treacly “tears” of syrup that will slowly dissolve into your tea as you drink. Cream rather than milk makes a decadent substitution.
