Yeah. Part of my problem is that my house faces East-West and my bedroom is upstairs on the West side. So the sun beats in all afternoon and heats up my BR. I can handle it downstairs while I’m up, but trying to sleep in a sauna isn’t fun…nor is it possible sometimes. Dad’s house faces N-S and stays MUCH cooler. Which reminds me that I need to run upstairs and turn on my fan. Thanks!
Thanks! LOVELY pics. Mt Baker is particularly gorgeous this year.
It is wonderful out at this moment. About 70 degrees, and I know the rest of the country has it much worse so I shouldn’t complain. It is predicted that the weather is going to climb back into the 90’s soon, though…and I’m not looking forward to it.
The thing is, since we almost NEVER have this kind of heat for more than a few days, no one has AC at home. I mean, why spend the money for a few days a year? So we have no way to keep cool when it DOES happen. “sigh” Oh well. If it gets TOO bad I’ll move in with dad for a time.
