I'm moving out today. I may not have Email for awhile.

Well, after weeks of powerplays and fighting, I’ve bit the bullet and I’m moving out.

Mom woke me up at 8 this morning to tell me to go to church ‘or else.’ Needless to say, I didn’t go to church. Instead, I started packing. I’m waiting for them to get back so I can use the van. I’m only taking what I need, because the Frat house only has an office open. When a larger room opens up, I’ll be back to get the rest.

I know for a fact I won’t have email (homer@micoks.net) for a while. I’ll have to set up a new account, as that one is my at-home dial up and doesn’t allow foreign connections. I will probably come home next weekend to continue assembling my other car to sell to my sister so I can get out of debt to my parents. Until then, I’ll probably be on the boards, but I won’t be in chat, or be able to reply to email (though I might be able to read it).

Hopefully the temp agency is hiring monday when I walk in.

Wish me luck.

–Tim

You have to leave at some stage. Might aswell be when they start breaking your balls about church.

Best of luck with your new freedom

Not in chat?! Oh, the shame. Well, good luck man.

I’m sorry things have come to a head like this Homer. Good luck, and I’ll wait for your return.

Good Luck Homer.

If you want a good email, one that will forward to other places, try ** http://email.com from NBC television.**

It’s perfect for what you want.
It’s available from anwhere as a web-based free service.
Plus, if you ever get a another home-based service, it forwards your mail instantly, also for free.

These are things Yahoo and Hotmail will not do for free!

For temp agencies (I’ve used a few), be sure to apply to 3 or 4, even if one gives you a job right away.

Temp jobs vary a lot, and some people hire a temp “for 2 weeks” but really stop work the first day because they aren’t ready and then expect you to be available when they get their at together. At that point, the agency will also want to keep you hanging, so you should have a second agency to call.

And call back every day, whenever they open (often 7am). Don’t be afraid this will upset them. They love to work with people who are eager/desperate, because they can get a placement made without leaving messages.

Good luck!

So, when’s the kegger?
Good luck Homer. Welcome to the world of 12 packs of Top Ramen or generic mac n cheese for $1.

Good luck, Tim.
