Did anyone see a great movie called In the Company of Men (1997)? That was filmed in Fort Wayne. Although that city or even the state are not mentioned in it, that’s probably my favorite Indiana film. This thread is making me think of it.
Sorry Shark… I just couldn’t resist the jab. I’m an IU grad and that just comes naturally. I really was just kidding. I also think Bloomington is the best place to live except there aren’t as many jobs there as in Indy so we had to settle.
And Sam… I really didn’t know Thailand was that big. And my only esposure to it was in the airport. My point was more of that I know that your country can be very different depending on where you are… just like my state is. To make it up to you, next time you are in Indiana I’ll treat you to the best tenderloin I can find… and next time I’m in Bangkok you treat me to the best bar girl you can find… deal?
While we’re on stereotypes, I’d never take anyone up on that bet from the region, due to questionable genetics
Well I trust Sam to be experienced enough to know the difference.
And maybe she will fall in love with me and I can support her with the dream of moving to America. Only problem is my wife may not like this idea too much.
Deal! I can even line up a variety for you to mix and match.
You mean she might end up actually being your long-lost daughter from that wild weekend in Bangkok 20 years ago?
