Do they really think we are naive enough to believe that a single individual could remove and throw two shoes in a twelve-second period? Maybe if it was the gold-medalist in the shoe-throwing Olympics, but I for one am not buying it-- there had to be a second thrower!
Also–why haven’t we been shown the shoes? Maybe because both of them are left-foot shoes–show us the shoes! And while you’re at it, investigate the link between the Illuminati and Florshiem.

We’re not talking about removing two shoes in 12 seconds, but only one - he could easily reload once in that timeframe. Especially when you take into account contemporary slip-on technology. If you watch the MSNBC video in slow motion, it’s clear that both shoes are thrown from the same area - they have nearly the same trajectory! Give the investigators time to do their job - I’m confident their analysis will support the single-thrower theory.
Jenaroph, are you always so quick to believe what the “investigators” will tell you? Don’t you think it’s odd that they’re already pointing the finger… at a journalist? Not a professional soldier, not an Oddjob-idolising assassin, but a journalist? I’ve seen the footage - the shoes were aimed too accurately to be from some clueless civvie.
No doubt the official scapegoat will have three names. 
The moment I saw the footage, I knew there was a conspiracy afoot!

If you look at the video closely, you can see that the shoe came from down and to the left (thanks for the tipoff Don’t fight the hypothetical). But when the president ducks the shoe, it is clear that the trajectory of the shoe is now from above. That, my friends, is one magic shoe.
You can’t trust the video. Close analysis shows there are frames missing between the first and second shoe throwings. Those frames are at a critical point of the action where the thrower MAY have removed his second shoe, MAY have picked up a shoe from the floor or MAY have received a second shoe from a co-conspirator.
Like whitetho I’m also waiting for the enhanced frame captures showing whether or not the two shoes match (same style, same size, one left, the other right) or whether they are two shoes from different pairs.
In short, it’s too soon to say definitively, but my conspiracy detector is definitely pegged on “high.”

It’s extraordinarily “convenient” that the president isn’t hit by either shoe, when even an amateur shoe-owner should be able to hit at that range. They’ve tried to edit the footage, but you can see that the president starts to duck before the shoe leaves the hand!
