…due to the fact that I’m in the middle of my fourth bout with iritis, which the military might have a problem with. it will affect my vision, so I likely not be able to qualify immediatly with my rifle. as this is my fourth time getting iritis, likely there is an underlying autoimmune disorder such as arthritis or diabetes. Regardless of that fact, iritis (aka uveitis) has to be treated promptly or vision impairment will result, which the military will alsonot like. They did know that I’ve had it in the past when I signed up, so they might not do anything at all. But just letting you guys know what’s going on.
Bummer about your iritis, which to me sounds like about as much fun as getting your finger impaled on a fishhook. A speedy recovery and return to the board (and military) to you. Happy New Year!
