My mom used to let me snack on celery filled with cream cheese when I couldn’t wait for dinner.
As a raw vegetable it’s great. Sorry if I’m in the wrong thread.
Several people have mentioned removing the outer stringy part and I am ashamed and embarrassed to admit it has never occurred to me that you could do that. I mean, I guess I just thought of it as stringy all the way through. This could push me over into the celery lovers thread if I’m not careful.
Also, why can I not use the smilies? This post cries out for a smackie.
And it’s an important discussion that needed to be brought to the surface. Yet no one had the guts to bring up until snfaulkner broke the ice. I applaud his bravery.
