I'm on telly on Tuesday

Of course, the vast majority of you won’t see it as it’s on UK TV, but I’m on a cookery show next Tuesday (filmed yesterday) and they did a short interview with me about my Cornish pasties (snigger all you like, these are my pasties). They asked me to be on because of my cookery blog.

Exciting! Since I already work in TV, it was interesting to see a different kind of studio and to be in front of the camera rather than behind it.

Those sound awesome!

ETA - so do your roasted balsamic tomatoes.

Proper telly, or satellite telly? Give us a clue here. " A cookery show on British TV" narrows things down to, oh, about half of the daytime schedules :stuck_out_tongue: .

Which channel? I do vaguely remember you from a Dopefest.

Proper telly! Channel 5, 6.30, Cooking The Books. It’s their new flagship cookery programme apparently.

Linky to blog please, if the mods will allow it?

Psst, that’s where her link goes.

Awesome, Fran!

I’ll set the recorder.

Oooh, ick. The guy’s been dead for almost 14 years.

Jeez, that was blink-and-you’ll-miss-it appearance wasn’t it? Second half, immediately after the adverts for those who wish to pinpoint it. You had maybe 10 seconds?

Thanks for the link to your blog. I’m always looking for new recipes, and the photos are gorgeous.

Yeah, I know. Fame is fleeting.

If only you were telegenic.

Are you trying to be rude?

One of these things does not belong with the other.

Wow, they look like real pasties! You brits haven’t lost the touch, I see!

I would love to taste your pasties.

What’s this about cooking, now?

I’m still waiting for an explanation, Quartz.

Athena - not only do they look like real pasties, they taste like them too. It’s almost as if I made real pasties!

Tapioca Dextrin - Hush you :stuck_out_tongue:

Methinks maybe Athena is referring to the Janet Jackson type of pastie? Although I don’t really see the resemblance.

Nope, I’m talking about pasties, since I happen to live in the only place in the US where pasties are very, very common.

Yum, pasties. I’m thinking Mr. Athena needs to run to the pasty shop and get us lunch in a few hours.
