5. Cut any other expenses that you can, like groceries, way back to the cheap. Peanut butter and jelly, bologna and grilled cheese can carry a body for a few weeks, even if it’s boring.

6. If you can’t find a full-time job soon, or get more hours, consider getting a part-time job close to home? Even a lousy fast food job, if nothing else.

7. Do you go to church? Your church might be willing to help you if you tell them you are in trouble. What other kind of help might you have? Friends? Siblings? Other relatives?

1. Yes I am definitely planning on making it to work tomorrow no matter what, I cant afford not to.

2. I’m pretty confident about the rent situation the more I think about it, the other roomie pays half at a time so I don’t think it will be an issue.

3. Its the first call I’m making tomorrow morning.

5. Pretty much doing that now, buying bread, cheese, turkey slices and soup, hey at least its a great way to lose weight.

6. Yeah I’m looking for full-time jobs right now, and thats going to be my main objective on my next day off.

7. I don’t go to church but I know a friend who is a seventh day adventist who has mentioned to me before that his church will sometimes help out people in need.

Don’t be afraid to go to a local food bank/soup kitchen to help ease your grocery bills.

You may feel like you are “not bad off enough” to go there and don’t want to “take” anyone else’s food but you know what? When you are square, you can donate back. If not money then time.
