Glad it’s not as bad as you feared. Those emotional rollercoasters can flat kick your butt. Now that things are settling a bit, take a little time for yourself. Find your balance, take a few deep breaths, and just take it easy. And know that a bunch of us are thinking of you.
Sending get well vibes.

You know, my husband had an arrhythmia diagnosed several years back. They put him on digoxin or some form of heart regulation med. My husband, being the type of fella he is, thought that there must be some other way to handle this other than to take meds for the rest of his life.
He found out that a local cardiologist was performing Radio Frequency Ablation procedures on folks with his type of arrhythmia, and was having great results.
He was a great candidate for the procedure and had it done. Cured his arrhythmia… and he’s med-free.
Hang in there, love. We’re all thinking of you!
I had a heart fibulation myself some years ago. It just started racing and then went to irregular beating. I wore a heart monitor for a month, and called in whenever I thought I had an “event”. No irregularities.
Ever since then, I’ve stopped drinking caffeine and eating chocolate. Prior to that I was guzzling Mountain Dews constantly. Haven’t had any problems since. Tell your dad to switch to decaf.
He switched to decaf several years ago, alas.
So, it ain’t gonna be that simple.
Dazzling White Diamonds–Dad’s going to Saint Thomas Hospital, one of the leading centers for treating heart disease in America. If the radio thing is indicated, they’ll have it there.
