We hired a plumbing company like that once. The work was fine, but they could not get it done in a reasonable period of time. I guess we found out why they were cheap.
The next job we hired someone else. He also turned out to be slow, although more competent, and being 65 both characteristics were completely understandable. he probably would have been faster if he hadn’t stopped to show us pictures of his mail order bride and their two year old, though.
Good luck with your plumbing. Finding a good plumber is like finding a spouse. The dating aspect is full of desperate hope and terrible pain. Someday I’ll find a plumber I want a lifetime commitment with. I might hold a party to celebrate.
