POLL TIME…

I live in the Smoky Mountains and all my family lives elsewhere. (I have a total of 8 brothers and 2 sisters) I want to devise a sneaky way of enticing them to move - - and if nothing else…visit.

…so I decided I would begin writing a newsletter that tells all the wonderful stuff that is going on out here…we have beautiful mountain views…the national parks…we’re close to other areas…museums…etc…

my family lives mostly in NY and FLorida & that life is crazy…so facst-paced…we on the other hand are very slow paced. …and take time to smell the roses.

Severl of my siblings have money to invest and could easily afford hot proerpty here…so for the logistical brothers…I could pump the money facts to them…
Question: What can I call my newsletter that will sound interesting? I want them to come to the smokies…but I do NOT want to use any corny bears…

I was thinking of the names:

Current (Because I would tell current stuff like events nad entertainment)
Peaks (ya know like peaking someone’s interest)
Mountain Peaks

I want something catchy…

That would be “piquing” someone’s interest (unless I have been whooshed by your spelling), so perhaps Mountain Piques? Smoke Signals? The Smoke Scene? Bear with Me? (I know. You don’t want to do the bear thing.)

Almost 25 years ago (AAACK! I can’t be that old!), I spent two summers working as a stage manager at Unto These Hills. It is indeed a beautiful area of the country.
