I have a TV room with an old tube style TV and wanted a DVD player and surround speakers to go with it but since money is a little tight I looked on craigslist. I saw a unit listed that was out of my budget but I made and offer. They counter offered a little higher than I could go. I counter counter offered and it was accepted.
I met the seller locally gave her cash and she put the system in my car. Today I go to set it up and I see one of the speakers had wires that were spliced and came undone. I fixed that then turned it on and it spit out a DVD that was left in it.
I start watching TV through it and it sounds good. I try to put a DVD in and and the DVD changer will not accept any disks. Also it refuses to shut off. It just keeps flashing standby and that’s it To turn it on I have to unplug it from the wall then plug it back in.
So now I have to start saving again to get another system. I know fixing it will be more than the $70 I spent so I’m not going that route. It’s a DAV-FC7 by Sony
