I'm totally in love...

With the new Chevy Avalanche… It’s on tour, and I’ll get to see it at the Texas State Fair next month. WOOHOO! I’m gettin’ one as soon as they come out.

Don’t you mean the Avalance?

What’s to be in love with, though? It looks like a SUV and a pickup were crossbred.

Oops! It’s Avalanche, I just mistyped the URL.

Well, maybe it ain’t your thing, but I’m in a band and have a lot of gear - but I don’t want a truck because I like the passenger room, because I also do a lot of things with friends and family. So, this vehicle is perfect for me.

Ford tried it with the Explorer Sport Trak… Totally sucked. Not enough room for anything in the back. Plus, it’s a Ford.

I don’t care about the car, but there is no way in hell I’d ever buy a Chevy now just because of their stupid wanna-be-star-trek-style website. That is so annoying.

Yeah, I’m in a band, too. I can (and have) carried all my band’s equipment, save the drummer’s (who fit it all in his VW Jetta!), in my VW Golf.

What’s the milage on these things. Ghastly, I presume?

It reminds me of the Nissan Frontier, 4 door version.

SUV’s all look so much a like these days who can tell them apart if it weren’t for those huge letters annoucing their names on the backs?

Holy Moses. What IS that thing? A car? Just be glad you have so many open spaces left in the US…

In the Netherlands, in 1999, a grand total of six Ford Explorers were sold. Then again, try parking a ship like THAT in Amsterdam. Impossible.

Don’t personally care for it, but I can see where it would have it’s uses. Too bad it’s a GM.

I’d carry that last post to Great Debates, but I’m scared to go in there.

I’m not impressed.

I own an F150 4x4 because a truck is right for me.

If I want and Excursion or Suburban I’ll get one of those.

But this hybrid is bizarre – not for me.

Oh my God!!! KILL IT… KILL IT!!!
