iMac G5, Safari 4.0.3, Canon iP3500. I’ve using this setup for a long time.
When I click “print”, a window with the Safari emblem pops up saying “error while printing”. I re-installed the iP3500 driver but nothing changed.
I can print a test page from the Canon utility and everything looks good, and there are no error indicators on the printer
One thing - the test page prints in the upper left 5"w by 3"h corner of the page. I don’t recall if this is normal.
Thanks,
mangeorge
- Try printing from some other App - does that work?
No, it won’t print from Appleworks or from a file (PDF, etc).
I think you may need to delete your printer queue and re-install it. Just re-installing the drivers may not be enough.
Do this from “Printer Utility” on Pre-Tiger systems, and in the Print and Fax pane in System Preferences in Leopard & Snow Leopard.
That did it
Now I can make my Pumkin Gingersnap Cheesecake. I’ll send you a slice.
Thanks
Mmmm…Pumpkin!
