Indeed. Tapatalk does honor the tag. Maybe that’s the first stage of support for having inline images here. Have people use the image tag instead of a link. Most people will just see the link. Some will see the image if their browser/scripts allow it. Sounds like win win to me. People who want to see them can see them and people who don’t won’t.
By the way, I presume that if the image tag was allowed, users would be able to choose seeing them or not (like signatures, avatars, etc). Just make not seeing them the default and that way only people who want to see them will see them.
My point was if they are so worried about “inappropriate” pictures popping up, then perhaps they shouldn’t be browsing at work in the first place. But you knew that when you quoted me out of context.
Besides, images can be turned off on the client’s side, so if they do show up it is their own fault. I really don’t care one way or the other, but I am amazed that people keep forgetting this simple thing.
