I was born here. Moved to Arizona, however, with my parents when I was seven and remained there for many decades.
Decided to move back here recently, as there was nothing keeping me in Arizona anymore.
Main wondering is…I wonder what new group of SDMBers this puts me in closer proximity to? I’ve been to a few AZ dopefests, but never a NY one.
I live there. I’m not a participant in real life SDMB groups. Cuz I’m a rebel and stuff. 
Like @MyFootsZZZ I haven’t been to a dopefest. I did meet up with @penultima_thule in Watkins Glen, about half an hour from me, when he was barnstorming the USA.
If you squint across the lake you can see me waving from Toronto. I’m just to the left of the CN Tower.
I’ve visited Buffalo (my wife is from there) and liked it. Make sure you hit Bocce Pizza for a killer pie. A lot of history in that city from back in the early days of manufacturing. The Pierce Arrow Museum is pretty cool, too.
I am about 3 and half hours south in northwestern PA.

You shuffled back to Buffalo?
We went with our kids 7 or 8 years ago, it is a nice little museum. The naval museum at Harborside is also worth a visit.
