So why did you post it?
Because it is a current event that may have some bearing on Ukraine security, military issues.
People post all sorts of things that may or may not pan out to be relevant.
And by “its territories” you mean of course occupied Ukrainian territory. Then again, I imagine you probably consider the illegal annexation of Crimea in 2014 by Russia to be kosher.
As you guys kept harping on the question. I browsed a bunch of " justifications " for various invasions, military operations, wars, etc…
If those were considered justified, then technically this one can be too. Even if this one and others are shit things to do.
I consider all three areas that are now mostly under control of Russia, a bad situation for quite some time. Political, social, ethnic, military " security " issues were always bubbling. There was and is a big difference from west to east in Ukraine for all these issues. I would have preferred the Donbas areas to have gotten their wishes for more self governance. If Crimean folks showed a desire for change, then a vote under multinational observance be taken and the peoples will be done.
Maybe this can be an outcome yet? But I have no idea what this will end up as.
Personally, I don’t think Russia should be allowed to be a country any more. They definitely shouldn’t have been allowed to take the late unlamented USSR’s seat on the UN Security Council.
Ahahahahahahaha! Man, I haven’t had such a good laugh in ages!
I seem to recall similar talk in 1938 about the poor downtrodden German minority in the Sudetenland, before it and later all of Czechoslovakia were swallowed up by the Nazis, in deference to “the people’s will”.
Or maybe it was the Triumph of the Will.
No idea, yet you post it anyway. And you really expect people to not believe you’re trolling on behalf of Putin?
The story popped up on a lot of sites that I was not familiar with. I wasn’t going to do in depth analysis of them all. As noted, the story was linked from the Washington Post.
Peruse the threads on Ukraine Russia war and you will find all sorts of links and info from varying quality sources. Go bitch at all of them too.
Don’t expect me to put so much more effort into my posts, when so many of the posts on here have zero information or effort. Just swearing at me and calling me names.
Well, here’s someting that should require minimal effort. What exactly do you consider justification for Russia to have attacked a sovereign nation that posed no threat to Russia?
You got that right. And when the USSR was a thing, they manipulated the General Assembly rules to have more than one vote in the GA, pretending that certain soviets in the USSR were, in fact, independent states.
Those other outfits didn’t post it here; you did. It’s on you to decide if it’s reliable before posting it. By your own admission, you just found something that you like to hear and posted it on this site without any idea if it’s reliable.
So, which is it? Are you a complete idiot or a troll? At this point, that seems to be the only two choices.
Got a question.
I watch the Military Summary channel on Youtube. The narrator usually cites the source of his information. Today he said the Ukraine military authorities reported a large movement of Russian air forces to the front lines. He then went on to theorize what the plan may be for these forces.
My question is. Is it possible to find these Ukraine military sources reports online? Before I put much value into even the report of the forces movement, never mind his theory of the two possible attack spots. Are there accessible sites for actual Ukraine military reports?
Google just spews out secondary news sites.
I actually read about air force movements somewhere else recently. But can’t remember where. Not official Ukraine military report though.
Never mind. I got it.
Ministry of defense of Ukraine.

But I am not seeing anything on that site about massive air craft movements into Ukraine either.
Anybody seeing a report of this?
If there is legitimate intelligence available about the movement of military forces from the Ukrainian perspective, why would we share it with a Russian troll?
Finally found a news article with a named source.
But it seems quite far in content from what the Military Summary channel supposes.
From the article.
“More than 400 Russian warplanes and 360 Russian helicopters are stationed around Ukraine’s borders, of which more than 150 are attack planes. This was announced by Yuriy Ignat, spokesman for the Air Force Command of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.”
But he does not say anything about it being an imminent attack force. That is a long border. Maybe that is a normal amount of air craft to be there. Have to see if anything develops.
And as usual, Cervaise, an insightful comment.
