Nope. But it illustrates that Russia and a whole bunch of other countries, past, present and unfortunately, probably future, put out I am what I say, not what I do. I know I am, but what are you? Oh but this time it is for the good. Etc, etc, etc…
Right now it is Russia, Ukraine. Look back and the same story plays out multiple times. Different countries, different or very similar situations.
I look forward to all the folks here championing “Mainland China” getting that pesky Taiwan back under control. Seeing as how Taiwan, as Donbass, decided to try and break away from it’s sovereign nation.
How dare the U.S.A. interfere and militarily and politically support the breakaway republic.
But, really. I fervently hope that China will let go of Taiwan. Just using it as an example. But there are some parallels.
If you are referring to the article about the German journalist. It was one of the first links. But it is easy for you to find many others. It is a sad fact.
My God, what a ridiculous fucking reply! You won’t reveal in what country you live on an anonymous discussion board because somehow, someone could use that information to track you down and do something bad to you. That’s some great Alex Jones level bullshit.
In other words, you are just a garden variety troll trying to get a rise out of people by posting pro-Putin crap. Talk about lame…
Elaborate.
A failed revolutionary government fled from China to Taiwan, which was China. And declared a new China. Of course the people in the Donbas just stayed there and continued to prefer Russia over the new Ukraine government.
No, really. I have not heard about that for a long time now. What became of them? I am really asking for information, if you have it. It perked my interest coming from left field like that.
Curve ball, left field. Accidental really.
It makes perfect sense. By absorbing Ukraine, Putin can ‘absorb’ Poland. And Slovakia. And Czechia. And Moldova. And Hungary. And Romania. And Slovenia. And Croatia. And Bulgaria. And Germany…
If you look at the map linked. Ukraine border to Russia is longer than what Poland would be. And drives deeper into Russia south west. And of course there is the historical use of Ukraine as an inroad to Russia. No fault of Ukraine, of course. Just the geography and tactical realities.
So a neutral or Russian friendly/allied/controlled, whatever Ukraine, is a great security bonus for Russia.
Ideally it would not be an issue. But circumstances make it one for now.
Forgot. The Black Sea fleet base in Crimea is a definite security and military issue.
Perfect sense.
Expend even more resources and lives.
Attack NATO directly.
Can you guys level up a bit?
Whacky waving tube man. Oh my god. I am totally defeated by the facts and logic of your argument.
If things remain at this childish level. Excepting a couple folks. I will just come in here to laugh and poke.
