I go out of my way in many replies and posts to note that many countries of various political ilk, often commit similar sins. I don’t recall absolving any particular one.
Yes, you do, especially when the topic is specifically about Russia.
I have not said Russia is at the top of any list of freedom of speech or lack of particular persecutions. But i am also not blinded to so many other countries who also commit sins against such things we should all have.
I find that control of the citizens is creeping forward in far too many countries. I am no fan at all of China’s scheme of control of it’s citizens. It is frightening. I fear how it is creeping into too many other countries.
