Happy. BIRTHDAY. Bill!

(As a teenager, I was tickled to discover that Shatner’s birthday is two days before mine, and Leonard Nimoy’s is two days after mine. )

I like Shatner because he can parody himself as well as anyone, but he is really going to have to cinch up that girdle.

The man’s in great condition for his age. Give him credit for living right.

Hey, post the full thing!

Turns out that he teamed up with Moe for this year’s celebration.

And as a bonus, here’s Moe with one of his former and most famous co-stars. Narf!

For those few who may not have seen it The Shatner Acting Simulator

To me, the thing that makes Mr Shatner so hilarious is his unawareness of just how bad and “over the top” he is.
It seems he thinks every impersonation is a tribute.
Still, that’s what makes him funny.
Happy Birthday Bill and thanks for all the laughs.

MY. NAME. IS. BILL.

AND. I. AM. CANADIAN!

I hard about that much before they zoomed in enough for me to see who it was. I just about fell out of my seat - who else could they possibly have to lead off that segment?

Oh, I’m sure he’s aware. He’s found a very lucrative niche in self-parody and has been working it for years.

William Shatner VS George Lucas:smiley:

The very first William Shatner imitator I ever saw started in standup, but today is more famous as a cartoon actor, playing Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Yosemite Sam, and a host of others in official Warner Brothers animations. This is the best clip I can find. The material isn’t great, but he does a spot-on Kirk and Scotty.

Happy Birthday! You chubby Captain!
