I would love a Perry (with detachable Fedora) but I’m sure they would all actually be robots waiting to be activated to help a certain villain take over…
THE TRI-STATE AREA!
I like iCarly too, though mostly because of Sam, who makes my wife smile and be evil.
SDMB, you’re timing of a technical hiccup was impeccable. And by impeccable of course, I mean COMPLETELY PECCABLE!
Ahem, let’s try to reconstruct my post.
What caught my attention for the first time as my kid was watching: “Don’t try to escape [that green bubble] - it’s made from the strongest thing on Earth - PURE EVIL! (and a blend of space-age polymers)”
I like the tales of Druselstien - especially how Dr. D’s parents didn’t even show up at his birth.
And **Dark2Phoenix **and I spend an inordinate amount of time randomly singing, “Brick, Brick, Brick, Brick, Brick, Brick, Brick - it’s fun!”
In a bizarre coincidence, one of my favorite online webby show video thingies just posted an interview with series creators Dan Povenmire and Jeff “Swampy” Marsh (who also provide the voices of Dr. D and Major Monogram). I had no idea Marsh was the grandson of Les Brown- I guess songwriting runs in the family.
One of the side benefits of babysitting the grandkidlets is watching Phineas and Ferb with them. I’m the guy sitting in the back giggling uncontrollably while my wife cocks an eyebrow at me.
