Doesn’t it suck when you wake up from a long afternoon nap and you think it is the next day already?
I used to do this a lot.

Sleep? Huh? waddat?
<blinks incoherently>
Mmmm… sleep. Sleep is grand. I used to sleep. Then I got engaged and had to get a second job to prepare for The Wedding. Friday night I got four blessed hours of sleep. I have been awake since six o’clock Saturday morning; it is now 11:30 Sunday night and I still have 2 1/2 hours of work left. Tonight I think I can squeeze in five hours or so before work tomorrow morning.
Friday I dreamed two of my friends were drawing me as an Irish Killer Clown. I had bushy long red hair that grew into a busy long red beard so that you couldn’t tell where the beard started and the hair ended. I was wearing a polka-dotted jumpsuit with ruffles at the wrists and ankles. But my two friends were fighting over what type weapon I should hold. It was especially odd as I am female and they were drawing me as a male.
i got a lovely 3 hours of sleep this morning. got in at 4, slept till 8 and then had to work. ::yawn:: and i have tests tomorrow…
at what age is it okay to begin taking naps again? lol.
jedi girl
It’s funny thing, sleep that is.
When you want to, you cant’.
When you don’t want to, it overcomes you.
For the last week I have been working the 4-12:30 shift and have been getting to bed by 2-3 am, and have been waking up by 9 or 10 am, and feeling well rested. When I had been working my regular 7-3:30 day shift, I feel like crap when I wake up.
I hope this doesn’t mean I’m a night person because I really like the daytime hours. Just my 2 cents.
