Following twickster’s lead:
Shoes: Target
Socks and Undies: Target
Pants: Wal-Mart (Yeah, I know, but they carry Lee Riders that fit me well and no one else does)
Shirt and sweater: Goodwill. The sweater is a Geoffrey Beene silk and cotton blend that cost $4 and the shirt is a sleeveless mock turtleneck ($2). Try looking for sweaters at Goodwill in the spring. There’s a day when they all go on sale for $1. Score!!
Cheap and unpretentious? They’re my middle names.
Hah! You rock, Annie! Almost makes up for the Section 8-ers, eh?
Not only from style to style, but within the same style of jeans. I bought a pair of jeans (size 8 short) that I hadn’t tried on and they ended up too big in the waist, but just the right length. When I tried to exchange them, I tried on the same style in a size 6 short and they were too long.
I also love Target and Old Navy. I also hit JCPenney when they have their Biggest Sale of the Year (which seems to happen several times a year). I love when you can buy one item and get another for $1.
My current outfit consists of Payless boots, **Old Navy ** pants that I bought at Goodwill and a maternity shirt from Fashion Bug. I would say that my entire outfit costs around $20.00.
I can’t tell good quality from bad. If it’s a nice fit for my body, I don’t care how well made it is.
