I can point to several posts on this forum where people blame me for Trump despite the fact that I voted for Hillary. And it not just my criticism of Hillary that made these idiots blame me for Trump, my refusal to sign onto the notion that the popular vote mean a goddam thing made me a Trump supporter. I’m sure you’ve seen these posts. You never say anything to correct these idiots (liberals rarely get corrected on this board by other liberals, it happens mostly to Der rihs) but its rare) but I can’t believe you haven’t seen their posts.
Fine, we can have different ideas of what makes a good candidate. I think good candidates get elected, you think good candidates have good resumes. can agree to disagree on that but whatever word you use, its sill not a good idea to nominate people who can’t get elected.
I only bring it up when people contest the fact that she cheated. If they are willing to acknowledge that she cheated and that the DNC was biased, that’s pretty much the end of the discussion but the excuses that people put forward for her cheating demands a response.
But someone is wrong on the internet. :o
Even less enthusiastic, tell everyone that you are going to hold your nose and vote for clinton.
People don’t want to hold their nose. Obviously, stats are hard to come by, but IMHO, the people who were very vocal about their reluctance for voting for clinton caused more people not to vote for clinton than if they had just shut up and stayed home themselves.
She was sent obvious debate questions and the DNC thought about saying mean things about Bernie. Are we done?
I don’t remember Gore, Kerry, McCain, or Romney being talked about as much as Hillary so deep into the next presidency. Maybe some “this is the break the McCain campaign is waitng for!” type jokes.
People contest it because it’s untrue. It’s a claim that has zero basis in reality.
You have some shit you like to point to as evidence, but it only looks like evidence of wrongdoing if you’re too much of a gigantic moron to understand it.
You’re too much of a gigantic moron to understand it.
But … she couldn’t have beaten Saint Bernie fair and square. There’s the proof.
No. You have yet to acknowledge that getting “obvious debate questions” is in fact cheating and that makes Hillary a cheater. You have yet to acknowledge the fact that the DNC was biased and that whatever was in those emails might not be the sum total of everything that happened at the DNC.
If Trump had received “obvious debate questions” before a debate I would bet my left but that you would call that cheating.
If Trump emails surfaced where Trump’s inner circle conspired to but in the end did not adopt any plan to engage in some shady bullshit, you would call that the tip of the iceberg.
I know it gets tiring to keep getting accused of liberal hypocrisy but the antidote to that is not to shout down your accuser, the answer is to stop being a fucking hypocrite.
I don’t know what sort of penny ante sites you are used to hanging out in but you simply don’t have the credibility to make ad hominem attacks without more just because you are liberal. Being liberal might shield you from criticism because this place is a bit of a liberal echo chamber but they still read your posts and roll their eyes. They don’t beat up on you because you are “on their side” and that became more important than intellectual honesty a while ago. You’re just one of the idiots on the board that get a pass because you are a liberal and liberal idiots get a pass on this board.
Welcome to the SDMB. Next time bring an argument.
I’m not the one making claims with zero basis in evidence.
These sins are minuscule compared to other common sins of politicians, or even other sins of Hillary Clinton. If these are what motivate you towards your raging hatred and crazed ranting against her, then your wrongness-meter is way, way out of whack.
Are you sure you didn’t already hate her, and this is just the current excuse you’re using?
The last time I checked, the DNC does not actually administer primary elections (the states and a quarter-bazillion county election boards do that) but is [wait for it, wait for it] A POLITICAL PARTY. :smack: Which means that it is entirely expected, by those inside it and outside it, to have certain political stances on things. It is not expected to be neutral, impartial, disinterested, or a tabula rasa for whoever runs for office and decides to call him/herself a Democrat (cough LaRouche cough). A big tent is still a tent and not the unroofed and unbounded open air.
Most people are not surprised to find that a political party generally prefers a candidate who’s supported it and identified as a member her whole political life over another candidate who has run for office multiple times under a different banner, or no banner at all, until he conveniently jumped on the bandwagon for this election. Were you also shocked, shocked to find that gambling is going on in here?
Well, if you look back I spoke glowingly of her performance during the Benghazi hearings. I thought she did a great job as secretary of state.
He’s still crying about THAT? After a retarded maniac got elected instead of her??? Oh Jeebus Keerist
Then, frankly, your posts come across as either batshit wingnut rage or utterly, utterly naive.
