I was just thinking I wouldn’t half mind spending six months living in Antarctica. I also enjoy the idea of living nomadically in a desert for a little while.
So, what’s the opposite of your ‘living on the beach in Hawaii or in a fabulous Tuscan villa’ fantasy?
What’s the most challenging environment you have actually lived in, for that matter?
I’m originally from Syracuse, New York, and the winters can get pretty interesting there, but I’ve lived in NYC/JC for about ten years, minus a two year exile to Ohio for reasons shocking and strange. Of course, NYC poses other kinds of challenges, but they are fairly well balanced out. I suppose for some people, that might not be the case, and NYC might as well be the bottom of the ocean (oo, does anyone live there?).
