But, Coldy, once you get it up and running, hopefully you’ll get really good speeds. My friends all had trouble with DSL installation, and they get 30-40K downloads. Hopefully you’ll get at least ::snicker:: 60 K or so… ::busts out laughing:: heehee…60 K…
Well, since this is ADSL (asymetric), my downloads ought to be quicker than that. And cable here is actually slower than ADSL in most cases, especially in the major cities. More connections on one main box mean a lower speed with cable: not so with ADSL.
Not that I would know anything first hand about download speeds, of course. The motherfucking thing STILL won’t log on.
I guess tomorrow’s another day of being put on hold in callcenters, talking to complete morons who know less about ADSL than me (it wouldn’t surprise me anymore, frankly), and tweaking settings that I’ve altered and altered time and time again at their instructions already.
I’m starting to get a little pissed off, can you tell?
