Cross that bridge when he comes to it, I suppose.
I will agree that the democrats should have put up a more centrist or populist candidate than Hillary.
Also Obama should have done more about the issues with immigration. Thats the only issue Trump has been winning on.
What exactly does this mean? “more centrist than Hillary”? Less Marxist?
“more populist than Hillary”? Wants to close the borders, especially to Muslims?

What about the Immigration Reform bill that died in Congress this year? Would that have helped? Republicans let it die because they wanted to keep the issue alive–to bait their racist & xenophobic base. Trump got ahead of them–how dare he!
When President Obama “did something” about Immigration, the Republicans screamed like stuck pigs.
Name the Democratic candidate you’d prefer. Or prefer one of your fools to run against…
Candidates don’t come more centrist than Hillary.
Trump isn’t a brown person. Doesn’t count. If he were an immigrant or the wrong religion, then yah, maybe.
Other things adaher blames on Democrats:
The taste of fat free foods
The rims on cars that were popular 15 years ago where the center part would keep spinning even though the cars was stopped

Pluto’s ambiguous sexuality - I mean, “planethood” - as the kids call it these days. But we know they are talking about its orientation.

Actually I blame that on liberals. Democrats, not being a wholly liberal party, have done some good things from time to time.
Qin_Shi_Huangdi:
First of all this is just blatant concern trolling, since as pointed out by others in this thread, Democrats have neither the guts nor strategic sense to do this.
Secondly, even if true, Democrats have nothing to apologize for-politics is indeed run on the principle of “the enemy of my enemy is my friend” and (as I’ve pointed out elsewhere) Trump’s success is vastly preferable to that of any “Establishment” Republican candidate. Does the OP have such a base opinion of rank and file Democrats that we are parodies of the ahistorical Menckenite caricatures of Puritans weeping and kvetching over the slightest wrong we might have done in the quest for power anid make John Bunyan seem like a shameless sinner?
Lastly and as hinted above, this just proves adaher is the biggest concern troll conservative on this forum and possibly anywhere on the Interwebs. Nonetheless its quite obvious that his ideology is the most blandest and rehashed version of Establishment cuckservatism that makes public elementary school lunches or Miley Cyrus seem fresh and appetizing in comparison-the concern trolling about how Democrats are racist cause muh Dixiecrats and they might dare to support protectionism/reasonable restrictions on immigration, the pure economism that would make Marx or Rand blush, the complete neglect of the fact that tradition, nation, culture, community, heimat , or anything besides the $ might matter in society, the tired “fiscal conservative, socially liberal” mantra as if that represented any sort of improvement on right-wing ideology, being stuck in a time warp where its 2005 with the Democrats begging Joseph Lieberman or Mark Warner to run as the Great Moderate Hero cause Kerry had been too liberal, the endless old neoliberal spiel about globalization requiring a return to 19th Century Manchesterian capitalism as if the Crash of 2008 never happened, the endless parroting of the AEI/Weekly Standard /Wall Street Journal line, the pseudo-New Politics attacks on Hillary Clinton on Hillary Clinton as some sort of a corrupt machine politician as if she was the reincarnation of LBJ and now the Trump denialism. I’m honestly getting quite tired of seeing much less responding to this sort of repetitive, rehashed yesterday’s ideology on this forum and I’m quite glad that Stoneburg has chosen to this opportunity to begin sperging about his beloved Integral theory, offering me some fresh new targets. That said, do not imagine I have any personal feelings against adaher -like many Marxists, he is quite an intelligent observer of politics when not affected too much by his 19th Century ideology.
Actually, it’s Mancunian , isn’t it?
Yes, Jesse Helms, Strom Thurmond, and assorted Dixiecrats certainly did good helping the GOP gain a majority in Congress and the Electoral College.
addy is a Marxist? Well, hell, maybe I am the Queen of Romania!
Well Trump must have the democrats running scared. Otherwise why are they stepping up the attacks?

…because he’s the Republican frontrunner? Or is that just too obvious?
Because it helps him. Hillary attacking Trump means he is more likely to be the nominee, and that’s good for Democrats.

It’s not Democrats, adaher . According to Jeb! it’s Barack Obama hisownself that we should blame for Trump’s political successes.
Keep in mind, he hasn’t actually won anything, yet. And the bomb that blows up his campaign will most likely fall from his own mouth.
It is clear that you do not notice that moderates (and there are several Republicans among them) are also the ones stepping their attacks, what I’m saying here is that several conservative republicans wilfully ignore that many moderates in opposition to Trump are like that because they consider the country to be ahead of the party indeed.

I heard Jeb Bush make a similar claim in an interview this morning. Trump is Obama’s fault, because Obama is a divider, and only through his fracturing the country could a troll like Trump have risen.
It saddens me that this is what counts for intelligence, thoughtful analysis and leadership by half the country.

Well, you can’t blame him. Personally I blame war, famine, plague and death on the Republicans. In my defence, I have some evidence.
