In which Piper Cub objects to the role of middle management

Shouldn’t the Outside Consultant say something like, “We will maximize your potential through a third-party paradigm that will allow you to leverage your human resources in such a way as to remain viable in the eyes of stakeholders; and to do so on a going-forward basis”?

Or in other words, “We’ll fire a bunch of people for you, now and in the future.”

If I were Piper Cub, I would resign.
