Seems like a lot of evidence that the kid DIDN’T have a gun. Of course, you have the word of a convicted murderer, so I’m sure that’s the best thing to believe :rolleyes:

The “something” that happened was that the child behaved as children sometimes do, refusing to comply with a stranger’s request. So Dunn shot him, and then shot at the other kids who tried to flee.
Thankfully, the jury recognized that Dunn’s testimony was dishonest, and was in direct conflict with the physical evidence and other witness testimony, and they convicted him.
Given your position on Kavanaugh it is not surprising that you enjoy seeing people convicted in spite of the evidence. I sincerely hope no-one believes the false accusations about you being a paedophile and acts on them. That would be terrible, and would in no way be karmic retribution.

IANAL either, but you are confusing evidence with allegations. No one in their right mind (meaning people who are not like Babale and iiandyiiii ) would say that a claim establishes itself.
Evidence would be more like if Ford said that five other people were there, including her best friend at the time, and all or some of them confirmed it. None of them did, so no evidence in favor of Ford’s story - the opposite, in fact.
And again, it is hard to have evidence about something when even the one making the accusation isn’t sure when or where it happened.

If anyone wants the measure of what passes for Shodan’s “character” here it is. He KNOWS I’m a veteran, knows I’m a combat veteran, knows that I do in fact have PTSD from Iraq, and this is how he treats that knowledge.
I have in fact checked myself into a locked facility. I hear voices telling me to kill myself. I have hallucinations of smoke and burning metal and the smell of cordite and that particular smell of Army canvas and rubber, the smell of a gas mask. I have in fact tried to kill myself because the nightmares caused me to stop sleeping. I am only one veteran of many in that regard. I can count on the fingers of one hands the nights I have had without nightmares in a decade. I have flashbacks involving snipers pinning down my convoy from the rooftops. I have panic attacks in vehicles thanks to IEDs. Thanks to the VA’s oh-so-Shodan-esque mindset of “Women aren’t in combat,” I went years without help. I had video and a medal citation describing how my position had been over-run. My squad had left the base one morning early on in our deployment, gotten ambushed in the city, and spent a day and a night and part of the next day fighting house to house. The entire base listened in on the radio as we requested air strikes and reinforcement and ammunition after being surrounded by insurgents. The insurgents gave a safe conduct promise to the QRF and then attacked them —and we had to watch it happen. We stopped asking after that.
Shodan knows just about all of this.
He will, of course, lie about this.
What he won’t tell you is that he has been smarmily attacking liberal women this evilly for decades. He has not changed. He’s only gotten worse.
Shodan hates women and believes us all to be liars. He is slightly less venomous with liberal men, but this is his character, right here.

…I had blocked so many people in this thread that I swear at least a quarter of the posts I’ve read say “This user is on your Ignore List.” And I just scrolled through an exchange between two people I had blocked and for a few seconds my brain couldn’t process why I couldn’t understand what they were saying.
