In your opinion, will there be five hurricanes in FL this year?

There are two months left in the hurricane season(more, actually). Historically speaking, late-season storms are less likely to make landfall in Florida…then again, historically speaking, states don’t often get four hits in one year.

So, do you think, based on whatever, that Florida will take another hurricane hit? Since it can still be destructive, I consider a hit any hurricane whose eyewall passes within 75 miles of the coastline.

I think yes, the west coast will get grazed again.

I hope, for the sake of those there, that it won’t.

I swear I meant to put this in IMHO, apologies.

The hurricane season runs until November or so. I figure they’ve got one more 'cane left.

I heard on the news last night that its very unlikely we’ll get another hurricane so late in the season. I’m not betting on that, though.

I told one of my coworkers this morning that the whole job thing’s been fun, but if we get another hurricane I’ll have to go.

cape verde hurricanes can come by until october. pop up hurricanes can go until november.

there maybe more hurricanes that want to go to disney world.

No problem . . . off to IMHO.

I’m with Diceman. There’s plenty of time left to recharge the heat in the tropical waters. So I’m not un-hunkering for a while. Or rather, I’m poised to re-hunker at the drop of a hat.

HEY! last night on TLC, they had “The Eye Of The Hurricane.” I got to watch footage of the post office two doors down from my office lose it’s roof.

62 days left of hurricane season.

I’m hoping we’re done, but I expect I’ll be bagging and dragging office equipment at least once more this season.
