I hope this in the right forum for this post but i am new to this website.
My question is that i was told about a ice cave in green county Indiana that is on a family members property that he has owned for a long time. The property use to belong to the Creager family and there is supposed to be several caves entrances on the property one of them being a ice cave. I have read that a few people has been inside the cave and there is a big ice filled room inside the cave. I cant find it. I think i have found the entrance to the ice cave but im not sure. They say that there was a collage that was going to go in and varify that it really is a ice cave but i cant find any records of them going. The reason im posting this thread is for any information that anybody may have about this cave (or others in the area) that may be able to help me find a way into this ice cave so that i can take pictures of this rare cave and share them with the world. I have found a post on this website from a member named Roland Dischain that was posted on 5-20-2004 heres a link to his post ( How is an Ice Cave in South Central Indiana possible? - Factual Questions - Straight Dope Message Board ) he says that he has a map to the cave and it would really be nice to talk to him if anybody knows how to reach him.
I have went back into the cave entrance that we have found but it looks like it had a cave in and blocked the small crack that supposedly goes back to the ice chamber but im not sure its the right cave entrance. Any info would be a big help.

Looks like he took part in The Indiana Cave Symposium this year, which is sponsored by the INDIANA KARST CONSERVANCY and the Indiana Cave Survey.
One of those groups might have the information you’re after, or at least be able to point you towards Bill Baus.

jizzy i just found this post while researching the ice cave i am from the area nd always thought the cave was more toward doans recently i was on my neighbors property and was going to ride wheeler he told me i ought to ride up to the ice cave i was surprised i never knew it was on the property im almost sure this is the correct location it is a side of hill and a sink hole i havent been in the place yet plan on soon would love to find someone to take along safety in numbers and i could talk with the neighbor to make sure its ok but f u recieve this i can be reached at ferguson348@yahoo.com the cave i have located is deep in a sink hole and im basing it off what ive been told but it is more closer to owensburg than koleen
