I am playing on a 3440x1440 ultra wide monitor. While I could play it using my 3070 ti, the lack of video ram forced me to use pretty low graphics settings. I upgraded to a 4070 ti Super with 16 GB of video ram and it runs really well now.
I am just starting my attempt to play this game on Steam Deck. Will let folks know how it goes…
I have it set to low.
Badly, is how it went. Valve is working to help patch the game to run on Steam Deck. I am going to wait until later to play it.
After I finish my current game(Guardians of the Galaxy), I may re-attempt Great Circle. I’m hearing more Steam Deck success after the third major patch/update.
Here it is on Deck for those wondering:
It was fixed for Steam Deck and I finished it the other day.
Fun.
I do have a question. Did anyone struggle with the final battle against Voss? I had read a ton about how difficult it was and I was pleasantly surprised I was able to get through the main fist fight on the first try. I ran away like a chicken most of the time and he used the whip to pull me back. I threw punches, ducked a bit, and was able to get it.
The swinging battle from the edge of the final area was more annoying, but I got through on my second try.
Overall, I liked…but was not head over heels for the game. Very fun action game and a really good Indiana Jones adventure. In fact, this should have been the new movie, not the Dial of Destiny.
Same. The first part was easy. The swinging part I failed initially because I didn’t understand what I was doing. But I figured it out on the second try.
I also had low health the first time the swinging section happened, but when you did it reloads you with full health.
