Indiana Jones - Professor at which university?

In the new movie the university is clearly:

Yale.

Is that where he is a professor? Or is the spoiled university just where filming took place? Were the university scenes for the other movies filmed at the same place?

According to IMDb, it was the University of the Pacific in Stockton, CA for Raiders, and Rickmansworth Masonic School for Girls in Hertfordshire, England for Last Crusade. Temple of Doom didn’t have any scenes at the school.
In Crystal Skull, while it was filmed at Yale, the lettermen all were wearing “M,” both on and off campus. According to the trivia section for Crystal Skull, the school is called “Marshall College” after producer Frank Marshall.

OVer the years, I heard the names “Marshall” and Barnett," but not sure where. I think I may have read them on Wikipedia. I think the new film’s college is supposed to be the same as in “Raiders,” because the establishing shot of the building looks to be of the same tower (if my memory serves).

Okay, just looked it up. Raiders and Crystal Skull have him teaching at the fictional Marshall College in Connecticut. Temple of Doom had no classroom scenes. Last Crusade had him teaching at a fictional Barnett College (not sure what state it was supposed to be).

Wow. It’s a bit surprising that he’d stick at the same institution for that long, given his problems attaining tenure.

Well as I tried to say but was interrupted by some damn glitch that took me to a Compuserve page (why does that happen?) with lots of % signs, in the films he taught at:

Raiders: Marshall College
TOD: No classroom scenes
LC: Barnett College
KotCS: Marshall College

So, he did transfer from Marshall for a while.
