After the Ark was found and Indy and Marion found an exit from the tomb they were sealed in. What material was the “concrete block” made from that he was able to push it out so easily?
Styrofoam painted to look like stone.
I seriously doubt anyone involved in the movie thought of any more backstory than that.
Thank you RealityChuck
You think Indy was the only one making it up as he goes?
I won’t snark at you Darth_Hamsandwich, I think its actually a very observant question but it is pretty clear it is a prop error and not anything intended by the creators or related to the plot. It had no in universe significance basically.
If you want more “official” backstory on the Jones universe you can try to find the 2 season Young Indiana Jones show, it is nowhere near as bad as reviewers claim as long as you dismiss outright the claim it provides a college level history education.:smack: Watching it as a action adventure show however it performs well.
Bad? I thought it was excellent. It does provide a Forrest Gumpified version of history (Indy runs into everybody famous) but it’s entertaining without being stupid.
More like foam rubber, I think. Watch the shadow… you can see it bounce after it falls.
It was made of Ancient Egyptian Cheesestone, the secrets of making which have now been lost.
Oh dear god, I actually looked for a “like” button on this comment. What has Facebook done to me? To the world?
I feel it right at this time to pass this sad news about Good ole mr. jones. please, click here
