He’s a corrupt businessman with narcissistic personality disorder. He acts just like an abusive spouse. He will hurt absolutely anyone if it will in any way help him. The only reason he even ran was to promote his own ego. He has no desire whatsoever to help this country. And he will lie and say anything to get what he wants.
Why the fuck do you think everyone is worried about him becoming a dictator? Would we care if he were decent and good?
I’m honestly not sure who is worse. The people who actively supported him and his evil, or the people like you who try to ignore it.

I realize this is the pit, but I’m asking this politely. Besides talking/posting about it, what have any of you actually done?
Even as a conservative, I didn’t vote for him. But the morning after the election I read his entire website “cover to cover” to find out what I can about his plans and platform. Many of the items covered I actually support. I then wrote my representative expressing my support for some areas of his platform. I will write later about what I oppose.
If it matters…
I agree with his position on changing tax codes to make child care easier for working parents, and making it more attractive for employers to provide on-site child care.
I agree with his position on infrastructure and especially water supplies (he mentions this in multiple places on the website)
I agree with his plan to sunset/reduce the volume of federal regulations.
He’s going to be President, like it or not. We have a largely right-leaning government now, like it or not. You have representatives at federal and state levels who will influence on his policies in the coming years. When was the last time you* wrote them to express your opinion?

Are you absolutely sure that what you read are his policy positions?
Eleven days after being elected Trump had eight new policy positions on seven different issues.
Trump took 141 different policy stances on 23 major issues pre-election.
So I very much doubt that whatever was written on the website is what the Trump Empire is actually planning to do. But as always YMMV.
And people are going to stand against this President, like it or not.
I don’t live in the United States. But as a direct result of the election I’ve introduced a diversity policy to my business and I’ve started to change the way we do business. We are also looking at ways of supporting vulnerable minority communities in 2017.
But that really isn’t relevant. Because this is the pit. And people come here to rant. Its kinda like the Black Hat guy in Westworld. Outside of Westworld he is a saint. But inside Westworld he comes across as a bit of an arsehole. There are many people here to do a fuck load of stuff outside of these boards. I noticed that too… NONE of the actual points was answered. It was all simply ignored. The underlying theme behind the points (which are backed up by his own words and behavior) were that Trump truly is a piece of shit, always has been a piece of shit, and always WILL be a piece of shit.
I mean, it couldn’t possibly be that this board doesn’t want anyone to make this their own personal blog or the fact that people, John Clay for instance, have been warned for starting too many threads on the same subject.
