Indoor Fireworks

This stuff has come to my attention a lot of late. The Great White case in Rhode Island, the fireworks they shoot off at the local minor-league baseball field after games, the fireworks on the field in New York a few minutes ago.

Anyone here have experience with “indoor” fireworks? Do they come in self-contained, buyer-fired kits? Do you need a fireworker? How do they work?

I saw some of these once.

They were like tiny things, about two inches high, that would foam over in the style of a volcano. Pretty crap tbh but maybe fun for kids.

Don’t know if these are the things you’re talking about.

Only Elvis Costello knows for sure, but he does say they can make smoke get in your eyes.

Seriously, you should google for pyrotechnics and see what comes up. This is firmly in the realm of movie and stage show special effects but I don’t know how eager they are to talk about what they do.

Don’t they shoot off fireworks in some NBA arenas before the start of the game? The league’s commissioner is not too happy about it.
