Behold:
32 minutes is too long for me, but I enjoyed the 10 or so minutes I watched. Very cool!
First, those terrain changes must just suck.
Second, I can’t imagine how jittery the world must be when you get off the bike at the end.
I can almost understand that. I’ve never been able to understand how the more urban biking like this one in Valparaiso, Chile is even possible.
Pretty jittery. Its hard to walk because all your muscles are super-set for pedaling/sitting/standing on a bicycle, not for walking. Plus your brain is still trying to process your surroundings as tho they were whipping past you at 100km/hr+ for little while.
ETA: I hadn’t watched this years run; no pileups, I noticed.
holy christ I wish I were capable of that
ikr
What’s even scarier is the reverse angle of the race start!
oh there’s the pileup!
that may be the biggest one i’ve seen at this race yet
Skip to about 23 minutes in and watch from there - holy hell.
