I’m in the US and I get Japanese spam, Chinese spam, and Hebrew spam in addition to all the other spam in a language vaguely resembling English.
I’ve got fairly strong spam filtering on my server and home PC. Still, I get some spam occasionally; a fair amount of it in German. “Energie für ihr Schwantz” (sic) seems to be a popular subject line. I also get some English-language spam that is vague as to the target country, but it’s definitely written in Indian English; labored phrasing like “Your esteemed self will very much do the kindful as needed for that which is most necessary please” and the like.
I apologize for hijacking this, but reading through here I wondered (for the very first time!) if people in Nigeria get offers of millions of dollars in the US earmarked for someone in their country, which could be shared with them if they remitted 20% of it back to the US for fees and charges
