Internet Explorer question (and favicon icons)

I just know that the answer will be obvious once I hear it, but I’ve searched and can’t find what I’m looking for. When I click, say, Favorites, it only shows a few. To show the rest I have to mouse down to a little arrow and click that too. It’s not just my IE, it does that on my Paint Shop Pro too.

I used to know how to make it show everything, but I just can’t seem to figure out how I did it.

Please?

Also, are there any problems associated with favicon icons? (those little pictures that show up in Favorites instead of the IE “e/piece of paper”) I didn’t know what they were until recently, and now I’m having fun making them. Are they hated like Comic Sans (which I used until recently, when I found out that people were snickering at me behind my back) or do people like them or not care one way or the other?

Tools —> Internet Options

Click on the ‘Advanced’ Tab

Uncheck ‘Enable Personalized Favorites Menu’ (under ‘Browsing’)

I am not familiar with Paint Shop Pro, but there should be a similar box in an options panel.

I just answered a post about favicon icons and suddenly realized I never got back here to thank you. Your suggestion worked and I appreciate you taking the time to respond. I do apologise for not thanking you in a timely manner.

I love favicons. I use Firefox, and it’s nice to be able to tell at a glance where my tabs are. Bugs me that the SDMB doesn’t have them.
