Although anyone who subscribes to a VPN service can probably do much the same thing if the service allows you to switch servers easily, this seems to be a different and much cheaper animal although I have to assume it works in a similar way but sans the encryption.
It’s also something of a legal gray area at the moment in terms of using this to say access NFL or Netflix streaming but presumably that will be tested in the courts and the service will be shut down if it’s deemed to violate any laws or int’l agreements.
The article focuses on just one such service but there may be others out there if this sounds like something that may of interest - and of course there is always the VPN route as well.
