I’m not asking for medical advice on what actions to take, I just need to help interpreting my herpes test results. They gave me numerical values but didn’t say what they mean. This was a blood test by the way.
Herpes Simplex Virus 1 IgG Antibody
Value: 13.20
Herpes Simplex Virus 2 IgG Antibody
Value: 0.09
I’m interpreting this to mean that I have Herpes 1 and not 2. Is this correct? From what I’ve read online, it has to be over 1.9 in order to be considered positive. I was hoping there would be a doctor online tonight to reassure me.
