Welcome Dylan. It’s nice to see all the ESL work that is being done in Australia is paying off!

Welcome to the dope and the quixotic fight against ignorance. Have fun and enjoy the local wild life.

PS: don’t let the forum change of this thread get you down, it happens to the best of us.

Howdy! Tell us about your critter work.

Did anyone else totally read OP in an Australian accent? lol

Is there something I don’t understand about the way Australians form a sentence?

I mean, accent is one thing - but that’s looking like ESL. I absolutely LOVE it when someone from China, India, Africa, whereever learns english in australia or england. The mixing of accents is awesome.

I want to know why the government of Australia denies the dangers of drop bears. :dubious:

Hiya, Dylan. Good to see you!

Based on this and Dylan’s two other posts, I’m not so sure he could pass a Turing test.

You think Dylan’s a big ol’ bot?

It’s like that scene in Crocodile Dundee where he leans out of the cab in Manhattan to introduce himself to the pedestrians and says, “I’m in town for a while and maybe I’ll see you around.”

At first I was wondering how you knew he worked for Earth Sanctuaries Limited, particularly as ESL went bankrupt in 2006.

Welcome!

13 posts into an Aussie thread, and nobody has yet said:
“G’DAY, MATE”

No.
