Invader ZIM DVD on the way!

I know there’s a few ZIM fans here, so read this story.

It’s supposed to have some unaired eps, too!

Victory is mine!

Ah me, oh my. This is my favorite part of this decade. All these great things are coming to DVD and into my home. Joy.

Unless it’s all some elaborate hoax. In which case get the tar a-boilin’ and pluck them chickens.

Nope.

“Joshua Lane of Animated Bliss has personally verified the info with John Sirabella, President of Media Blasters.” source

e-YES!!!

Oh good! Somehow my daughter got hold of a DVD of all the Invader Zim eps, including the unaired ones (no, I have no idea, and I’m not asking, because I’m fairly certain the answer is “bootleg” and in this case, ignorance is bliss) but wherever it came from, it’s pretty poor quality. I look forward to seeing these in all their original glory.

Woo hoo! Hell with “Finding Nemo”, this is the DVD the Blueskids and I will be waiting at the store at 5 am to buy on the day of release.

But, one thing…the article refers to Zim currently airing on Nick…I thought it had been canceled. Is it on, and we’ve just missed the times?

No, its not being aired. I have my TiVo season pass still active and it’s not catching any Zims. (I have all the eps on tape, I missed the Xmas episode and am so mad that it never re-aired.) I’ll certainly be buying the DVD.

Peace.

[Grr] STRAIGHT DOPE BOARD… MAKE ME A SANDWICH!!! [/Grrr]

Let us rain some doom upon the doomed heads of our enemies!

This new development brings the day of the Irken invasion that much closer…

If this ends up not happening, I know at least one little girl who will be crushed. And her daughters will be, too.

I’ve signed up for the MediaBlasters mailing list.

Actually, the article refers to it airing on Nick’s sister network, Nicktoons, which it does.

I’m gonna sing the Doom Song now! Doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom, doom…

“Anime fans have been screaming for this DVD release since Zim first aired on Nickelodeon in 2001 and now it’s finally here.”

Ew, am I an anime fan now? Ugh. The very thought of anime makes me… make… little… sicky noises.

They have not ignored my veins!!!
