Relating what other people say about your cooking isn’t really bragging, is it?
Ran across something while looking for recipes this afternoon which I have heard before (not necessarily about my cooking, mind you).
Regarding the recipe, the poster said something along the lines of 'My wife thinks that my (recipe) is the best she has ever had, and she’s had it cooked by (impressive native cooks) in (an exotic place where the dish originated).
What’s your ‘better than the chef’ dish? Doesn’t have to be exotic! How would your significant other/friends fill in the blanks?
