Yes, since there was a game on this board in the last year, we are eligible to send a representative to the biggest online Mafia competition in the world. (Giraffe also has a spot, despite the two groups of players having near-total overlap). I have played a few times and it is lots of fun, but very demanding. Expect to be playing Mafia like it was your job for a couple weeks (or get quickly voted off for lurking).
Here is the official invite, I guess I am the SDMB liason so I will transmit our decision to the organizers once we have a consensus on who are we are sending. We also need an alternate! Feel free to ask me in this thread for more details. Deadline is March 4 so this is semi-time sensitive.
