My iphone is apparently infected with some kind of virus. It plays primarily bursts of music at random times. About 10 seconds worth. It has happened in the middle of phone calls, while I’m reading a book on an app, and when the phone was just sitting there unused. No idea how to clear the issue. I have never heard of antivirus software for an iPhone. Has anyone heard of an issue like this? Any suggestions?
That’s wild! I’ve heard a couple people complaining about this for awhile.
It happened to me a couple times as well on Android but not to the extent you are experiencing.
Do you have any apps that play music?
Do you have You Tube?
Try to disable autoplay on these apps.
Probably obvious, but make sure your iOS version is up to date.
I have an iPhone 15 too. I haven’t experienced the OP’s issue, but a few months ago I had this really weird thing happen:
After I did some googling, I found that the ‘Apple CarPlay’ connection between the phone and the vehicle speakers can be hacked in that manner. So I don’t tthink my phone itself was hacked, just the wireless connection, but I updated my iOS version just in case and it hasn’t happened since.
