Some years ago, not long after the 2nd iPhone came out, a coworker bought one and showed me this app. It somehow made the illusion of a 3d image with depth, perhaps of a stick figure. You may have had to spin the phone, but I’m not sure about that. Ring any bells with anyone?

There was a game (or a demo of one) for the Nintendo DSi (not the 3DS) that used the front-facing camera to detect when the device was being tilted and turned, whereupon it would redraw the scene to provide the illusion of depth.

No, I think I would have remembered blueprints being involved. Plus, I don’t think it was a game, just a toy or tech demo. Thanks though.
These two things are pretty cool, probably cooler than the thing I’m trying to remember! I have to check if that Holotoy or something similar is on Android.
