iPhone bedside clock app recommendations

Can anyone recommend an iPhone app to use the phone as a bedside clock? I want to have it standing on a charger overnight, preferably in landscape mode, with the time displayed (digital not analog) and an alarm time set. Googling, there are of course many apps that appear to do this; most have only a few hundred reviews so none seems to be the go-to app. So I’d like to know if anyone here has used a particular app they like.

I once had a similar need, and I can only comment on what I’ve used, but the one I found that I liked most is called “The Clocks: Alarm, World Clock.” What I like about it is simplicity and a nice variety of clock face styles: flip, digital, analog, and further options for each type. Can set up to 5 alarms I think, and you can pick a song from your music library to use as the alarm tone if you like. 100% free, no “lite” and “pro” versions BS.

Thank you. I downloaded that app. Can anyone else suggest another app? (Though it seems to me that this is something that ought to be possible as part of the phone’s built-in clock.)

I’ve used the iHandy Alarm Clock Pro app since I first got an iPhone, a decade ago. It does what you’re looking for, lets you use a song from your iTunes library as your wake-up tone, and has a couple of other features that I don’t use or really know much about.

OK, I downloaded “The Clocks: Alarm, World Clock” app recommended above and have a standing QI charger I can use to prop up the phone overnight to use for charging and to see the time from bed. Next, I need to set up an alarm to wake me up. Formerly, this was easy to do in the Alarms portion of the iPhone Clocks app but now, before you can do that, you have to set up a “sleep schedule” in the Health app. Really annoying since I have no interest in using the Health app to track my sleep. It looks like The Clocks app has its own alarm independent of the iPhone alarms. Not sure why Apple decided to complicate the creation of an alarm.

Tapping the “+” button at the top right of the Clocks app, setting the time, and choosing which days to repeat doesn’t work? Or even easier, what about “Hey, Siri, wake me up at 7 every work day” or whatever? No need to go into the Health app or set up a sleep schedule. Or does that not work for you?
