iPhone users - turn off "Sent from my iPhone"?

Everytime I send a message from my phone, it adds, “Sent via Blackberry from T-Mobile”.

Based on what’s been said above, it’s possible that there is some menu option somewhere that removes this, but I’m too lazy to look for it.

Did it continue: “…because I’m too busy gazing at myself in the mirror making twin ‘cocked pistol’ gestures with my hands”? :stuck_out_tongue:

Or “That 6AM email was sent from under my duvet. I’ll probably get up around midday if I feel like it”

The Blackberry signature is actually much harder to get rid of - you can’t change it from the handset. I have to log on to a website set up by my mobile provider (it insists on giving me a weird username and password as well so I usually forget them, and to find out what the username is you have to call the provider), then go into a certain page on the website to change the “Sent from my BlackBerry” signature.

I changed it to “sent from my mobile” - I’m a bit worried I still sound like a dick for having that as a signature, but at the same time it can be useful to let people know you’re not at home (that I’m at work or travelling for instance).

We were told to include this signature on our Blackberries by my boss since it also kind of says “Please excuse any typos or mispellings, as I am typing with my thumbs.”

My non-iPhone touch screen phone signature says “Sent from my wannabe iPhone.”

Back when iPhones first came out, I tried to convince a friend who had one to change his signature to “Sent from my iPhone. That’s right; I have an iPhone. Aren’t I special.” but he wouldn’t do it.

Ditto. I also think that after paying many times that amount for my car, I shouldn’t have to allow the dealer to put his nameplate on it.
